JMP S Series

Matsumoto Machine has condensed the know-how we have accumulated in horizontal centrifuges in newly developing units that respond to needs of the pharmaceutical, food, and fine chemical manufacturing processes.

S-Type
  • Vibration caused by imbalance is eliminated through improved uniformity in cake thickness, and cycle time is shortened by increased cake washing efficiency and a higher centrifugal effect.
  • Due to the large-sized inspection window, work is possible without opening the casing section when taking samples after the end of the separation process and thus prevents mixing in of contaminants.
  • As all processes from fluid supply to crystal discharge are performed in a sealed state and crystal recovery is conveyed to the following process via pneumatic transport, there are no restrictions to the installation site.
  • The fully-sealed structure of the drive side makes it possible to install the main unit in a clean room.
  • Local design enables specifications that fit specific needs.

Features

  • The wide-mouth scraper removes the cake from the upper portion of the drum.
  • The edge of the scraper blade is reversed for safe and smooth insertion into the rotating cake.
  • The cake scraping system improves compatibility with centrifugal separation of other substances, enabling the handling of various products and greater variation in manufacture.

  1. Slurry supply
    Slurry is added from the supply pipe. Automatic control of the quantity of slurry is ensured with an overflow prevention device.
  2. Deliquoring1
    Rotation is increased for deliquoring. Slurry is automatically added if the crystallization of slurry advances and causes a decrease in the amount of slurry in the drum.
  3. Deliquoring2The state of deliquoring is confirmed from the front viewing window without the need to open the casing.
  4. Cake washing
    The cake is washed with a washing solution after deliquoring.
  5. Discharge(S-type)The crystals inside the drum are removed with a scraping device.
  6. Discharge 2(S-type)Any cake remaining in the drum is air-blown out and discharged without any residue.
  7. Internal cleaning1A cleaning solution is injected from the cleaning nozzle and the inside of the unit is washed.
  8. Internal cleaning2With the discharge chute closed, a cleaning solution is injected from the cleaning nozzle and the inside of the unit is washed.
